Grungy Unsightly Bathrooms can put off potential buyers from buying a home. I find Many buyers either don't' have the financial resources or time & energy needed to fully renovate a bathroom. As we all know with renovating we never know what we will find behind those 20 year old bathroom tiles and may the truth be known we really don't' want to know, something's are just best left alone.

Remodeling a bathroom is far less expensive & time consuming never mind the disruption it can cause in a household and the comings and goings of trades people. Remodeling gives a Fabulous refreshing new look to an outdated unsightly bathroom or ensuite. Cost of painting tub surround is pennies compared to the cost of renovating.

At one time and perhaps in the future this will return as a truth. As for me who just went through this the reality is it matters little in topdays market. Good thoughts though to keep in mind if the home market improves.
